Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team and lead our human resources division. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for talent management and organizational development. They will play a key role in shaping our company culture, supporting our team members, and driving HR initiatives that align with our business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Oversee the full recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers. Develop strategies to attract top talent and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  2. Employee Relations and Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters. Proactively address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment. Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement and retention.
  3. Performance Management: Design and implement performance management processes to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and recognize achievements. Support managers in conducting performance reviews and identifying opportunities for employee development.
  4. Training and Development: Implement initiatives to support career growth and advancement opportunities for all employees. Develop and deliver training programs on topics such as leadership development, and compliance.
  5. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations. Ensure that all HR practices promote fairness, equity, and transparency.
  6. Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs. Coordinate open enrollment processes and serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.
  7. Employee Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  8. Culture and Diversity Initiatives: Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. Partner with leadership to cultivate a culture of belonging where all employees feel valued and supported.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in the media, entertainment, or digital marketing industry is a plus.
